WHO ARE WE

We are a all volunteer and fostered based rescue located in the greater Buffalo, NY area. We pride ourselves on being an all-breed dog rescue. We are a 50l(c)(3) organization and 100% of the money we raise goes towards the rescue and rehabilitation of the dogs in our care. We are 100% volunteer based.

Since the rescue started its operations in November of 2018, we have rescued over 2,500 dogs across nine states: Kentucky, West Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Ohio, Tennessee and New York . We have no intention of slowing down. Our volunteers work tirelessly to save these dogs from the terrible fate of euthanasia due to overcrowding at shelters across the nation.

Nickel City Canine Rescue does not receive any funding from the county, city, state, or federal governments. Our rescue does not receive tax dollars of any kind . . . we’re only able to assist the people and pets in need thanks to donations from the community.
